she is with someone else,
tis not to be,
drowning my heartache among the waves,
as the clouds swirl above me,
you smile at me,

your sweet silky voice drifts across the dancefloor,
all that glitters does not turn to gold,
on the balcony of love I turn towards you,
a kiss upon your cheek I give you,
so I sit here upon golden sands,
