September Falls

A cool autumn day,
September's about to fall,
The leaves fall all around
Unread poems lie scattered
on the ground,
Love is all around,

Words of love in the four winds,
Scattered love blowing in the wind,
The starstruck lover no more,
This star that shines so bright,
Has gone away,
To the distant shores of Thailand,
Never to be seen again,

Cool and wet in the pouring rain,
Swept aside by monsoon rain,
My words of love trickle into the stormy night,
Yet another grey cloud upon my horizon,
I....love....you....I whispered across the airwaves,
But the words fell on an empty heart,
The words scorched by the burning sun,
The book of love turns to stone,

A rainbow of hope appears,
The blue bangle shines bright
Its magic glowing just for you,
Keeping my lover cool and calm in
her darkest hour,

This is my song,
As the Autumn sun sets,
As September falls

A Crack in Time

A crack in time,
you slipped and fell,
your existance erased,
your memories cease to be,
now you're all alone again,
your companion left for another galaxy,
time is so cruel,
it does not recall you,
the recent love I had,
disappeared in the crack of time,
sadness in your eyes,
I cease to be,
the light reached out for her,
cast her cruelly aside,
gone forever,
just a small speck of stardust remains,
the lovers cease to be,
erased and forgotten for enternity,
in the crack of time,
a whisper of 'I love you'
echoes in the crack of time,
you may not always need me,
but I'll always be there for you,
just hold on to your memories,
don't let them fade away,
the lovers will surely return,
from the crack of time

Starry Night

Starry night ...starry night...,
how I yearn for you tonight,
on this cloudless sky,
the stars shine bright for you and me,
across your desert world,
gazing at the shining moon,
to make your dreams come true,
how I wish I could be with here you,
to make my dreams come true,
so when's there no hope in sight,
it's time to do the right thing,
and flee across the oasis of my mind,
and begin anew,
on this starry night if only I were with you,
starry ...starry ....night
how my heart yearns for you tonight

Summer Love

Summer love and the beat goes on,
Through the long night,
Through the heat of the day,
Those hazy days of summer gone,

And the crowd still dance,
To the hits of the sixties,
Twist and dance to a classic beat,

End of summer is here,
Deserted beaches all around,
My summer love has gone,
Far far away,
Across the Sahara Desert,

She's not here anymore,
Neither there or here,
One day she shall return,
Your love not yet spurned,

So embrace the one you love,
Don't wait too long,
The passion will go,
Your lover will disappear,

A kiss in the dark,
A kiss in the art gallery,
Colour my world tonight,
With songs and your sweet laughter,

A quick hug and a kiss on the lips,
Before your train departs,
But the beat goes on,
Until another summer's day,

The love beside me is no more,
Flown away on her secret mission,
Cool and calm is she,
A cool cat indeed,

For all we see,
Is not clear at all,
Days of summer gone,
My love gone to a distant land,
The beat goes on,
My summer of love

The Brown Eyed Girl

Stepping into the sea,
the brown-eyed girl stood
perfectly still in the clear blue sea,
as calm as the sea around her

She gazed at the cloudless sky,
oblivious to the people on the beach,
deep in her thoughts,
contemplation on her mind

Calm and serene like the wind that
blows along the shoreline,
her cap shielding her delicate face
from the scorching rays of the sun,
whispers of her fair hair
fall against my face

Through her sunglasses she peered at the tanned man beside her,
her thoughts were hidden,
one day all would be revealed

Swirling mini sandstorms swirled around the couple
the sand swirled violently around the
two people's faces
a cool sea breeze brushed lightly over the young girl's body
so here we are face to face

Standing perfectly still
calm as the sea around her
nobody knows what she's thinking
but the brown-eyed girl

For a moment the sands of time
stand quite still,
on the horizon the burning sun sets
casting an orange glow upon the sea

So here we are perfectly at ease
as still as the dark night,
gazing at the sea and
the sky up and beyond,
on a starry moon-lit night,
hand in hand along the shore

Nobody knows what she's thinking
but the brown-eyed girl
calm and serene like the wind that
blows along the shoreline

The sun sets for another day,
so it's goodnight
from my brown-eyed girl.

Blowing me a goodbye kiss,
such a light touch as
she brushes against me,
blowing me her goodbye kiss
that's the brown-eyed girl's adieu.

Moon Over La Marsa

Moon over La Marsa,
fishing boats go across the midnight water,
moonlight beyond the sea,
yet it's clear to see,
the swimmers all at sea,
cooling off in the summer breeze,
it's the summer of love,
the birds from above,
fly your way,
across the evening sky,
be still my beating heart,
my friend we're not too far apart,
moon over La Marsa,
shining its light below,
the calm waves upon the shore of my mind,
a wind of change is about to come,
from the starry heavens above,
the fishing boats across the stormy waters,
it's just another night,
across the Tunisian skies
another moon over La Marsa.
