Sleepless in La Marsa

Twisting and turning
through the night,
Sleep did not come easy,
Dark are the shadows
that fall tonight,

The moon shone brightly,
On my window sill,
Rustling of autumn leaves,
On the midnight breeze,
Moon beams upon my shutters

The passion lies dormant,
Waiting to be stirred,
My passion lies deep inside,
Let a kiss awake you,

From your deep golden slumbers,
One day your princess will come,
The dreams seemingly undone,
My fair haired girl,
Is waiting to be stirred,
From her deep slumbers

Waiting for an answer,
To arrive on the autumn breeze,
Scattered thoughts on my mind,
Twisting and turning,
Thought the night,
Sleep does not come easy,
As the sun rises on another day
